Nekton (Journal of Fisheries and Marine Sciences) was first published in March 2021 and indexed in Google Scholar in April 2021. On April 16, 2021, it received the E-ISSN 2776-2734 and P-ISSN 2776-2742, ISSN International Center from the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (Center for Data and Scientific Documentation/LIPI now BRIN). In addition, Nekton was indexed by GARUDA on October 4, 2021, and by DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) on March 21, 2024. Finally, Nekton has been accredited SINTA 4 from Vol 1 No 2 until Vol 6 No 1 2026. The Nekton journal, originally published in March and October, will now be published in Mei and November, starting with the issue of Vol 5 No 1, Mei 2025.
