Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

The types of manuscripts were original articles and review articles that had never been published before. It is not in the process of being published by other journals in the field of fisheries agribusiness/socio-economic fisheries, fisheries product technology/fisheries processing, aquaculture, aquatic resources management, fish capture technology, ecotourism, or marine sciences. Submissions must only be made online.

Manuscript Writing Format. The manuscript must be written in Indonesian (recommended) or English under the condition: the type of font is BOOKMAN OLD STYLE (12 pt) (only for TITLE BOOKMAN OLD STYLE (14 pt), and BOLD), 1.15 spacing, 2.5 cm border, layout size A4 with 29.7 cm height and 21 cm width. The top 2 cm, bottom 2 cm, right 2 cm, left 2 cm, and gutter 0 cm were measured using Microsoft Office Word programs and similar software. Manuscripts must be written for at least 8 pages, with a maximum of 15 pages

TITLE should be concise and as informative as possible and less than 20 words.

ABSTRACT contains brief and clear information about the background of the research/study, the objectives of the research/study, the methods used, the results of the research/study, and the conclusions. If needed, you can add a policy recommendation (optional). The abstract should be less than 250 words and a minimum of 150 words for the Indonesian abstract.

KEYWORDS Written in Indonesia and English 3-5 words or groups of words.

INTRODUCTION begins by concisely and clearly explaining the research background, problem formulation, theoretical framework, and research objectives in Standard Indonesian. Subsequent paragraphs usually explain the literature study by including sources (footnotes) that contain the latest state-of-the-art developments from the field in which they are involved and those related to the problem or topic of the research/study. The last paragraph is usually associated with a description of the research or study objectives to be achieved.

RESEARCH METHODS is usually described in detail and clearly regarding the location and time of the research/study, explaining the type of research method (qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-method), accompanied by details of the method of taking/collecting data and the method of data analysis used, if the method used is previously known, a reference must be included.

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION should not be separated. The results obtained based on the methods used are stated. Avoid the presentation of raw data and double presentation (e.g., tables and graphs). Every mean value of the data was given a standard deviation. All the data given in the results should be presented in tables or graphs, although some results may be given solely in the text. A discussion can be made by comparing the results/data reported with previously published research results. The results were interpreted rather than repeated. The similarities, differences, and uniqueness of the findings should be highlighted.

CONCLUSION is described briefly and refers to the main points of discussion and the ability to articulate the main findings answering the objectives to be achieved. It should be written as a paragraph, not as a list.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS (Optional) must be written only if the research is supported (costs, facilities, and personnel) by the relevant agency or institution, the research sponsor, the names of those wholly involved in the research, and the words are high.

AUTHOR'S CONTRIBUTION STATEMENT explains each author's contribution to this paper so that it must be included.

REFERENCES for citation writing use the APA citation style (American Psychological Association 7th edition) and it is recommended to use the Mendeley application. It is highly recommended to use primary literature sources from the most recent publications (last 10 years). The percentage of all references consists of 80% scientific articles and 20% from other sources, with a minimum number of references at least 15.
