This is because without innovative product branding, local MSME players will not be able to survive. Only through attractive MSME branding will the product's market share be able to extend beyond regional boundaries. The purpose of this article is to describe that creating local MSME branding is really needed by MSME actors in Blado Village. Moreover, its implementation is supported by the presence of KKN students so that the mentoring process can be carried out. The mentoring service program for KKN students is important because they become facilitators who relate directly to the MSME community. Therefore, the method used in this service is a method of mentoring KKN students which it is hoped that the students will be able to translate this into society. The results show that program assistance to KKN students can be implemented well because students as facilitators to the community are able to carry out their duties with significant acceptance from the community of MSME actors.
Hendy Setiawan, Choirunnisa Choirunnisa, Meriwijaya Meriwijaya, Yendra Erison Copyright (c) 2025 Hippocampus https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.poltesa.ac.id/index.php/Hippocampus/article/view/933 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Poltesa Press sebagai Publishing Service https://ojs.poltesa.ac.id/index.php/Hippocampus/article/view/863
Sambas State Polytechnic as a Higher Education Institution that has been established since 2008 still does not have an official publishing institution. Efforts to overcome this problem are made by building internal publications that can effectively support academic and research goals. Through community service activities, activities were carried out that aimed to establish an institution-owned publishing named Poltesa Press. Activities carried out include the formation of the organizational structure and single account of Poltesa Press, making the Poltesa Press emblem and website, making books to be published, proposing book ISBNs, printing books and proposing Poltesa Press to become a member of IKAPI. Based on the Decree of the Director of Sambas State Polytechnic, the organizational structure and single account of Poltesa Press were determined. The chosen Poltesa Press symbol was determined based on the results of the Poltesa Press team meeting. The first book published by Poltesa Press was titled “The Surefire Trick of Fishing Shrimp in the River”. The ISBN proposal of the book was submitted to the National Library. Official recognition as a legitimate publisher is done by proposing Poltesa Press to become a member of IKAPI in the West Kalimantan branch board.
Suhendra Suhendra, Theresia Widji Astuti, Beryaldi Agam, Iklas Sanubary, Maya Marselina, Pande Putu Agus Santoso Copyright (c) 2025 Hippocampus https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.poltesa.ac.id/index.php/Hippocampus/article/view/863 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Peningkatan Kapasitas Produksi Unit Usaha Bubur Pedas Instan “Superburdas” Melalui Penerapan Teknologi Penyiang Daun Pakis https://ojs.poltesa.ac.id/index.php/Hippocampus/article/view/883
The partner was a business unit engaged in processing instant bubur pedas with the SuperBurdas trademark. This business started in 2022 until now it has grown rapidly. The problem experienced by partners was in the process of preparing raw materials. The process of preparing raw materials, especially for vegetables, was done traditionally using human labor. This process was quite time-consuming, labor-intensive and very impractical. Based on these conditions, the implementation team offered a solution in the form of applying fern leaf weeder machine technology to partners. This service activity includes making a fern weeder machine, machine functional testing, operation and maintenance training, asset handover and activity evaluation. This activity has an impact on increasing partner knowledge and skills and increasing work capacity in the instant bubur pedas production process. The fern leaf weeder machine is able to increase the capacity of manual weeding of ferns by 0.9 kg / hour to 3.15 kg / hour when using a machine.
Feby Nopriandy, Suhendra Suhendra, Leo Dedy Anjiu, Erwin Erwin Copyright (c) 2025 Hippocampus https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.poltesa.ac.id/index.php/Hippocampus/article/view/883 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Meminimalisir Sampah Plastik Melalui Pemanfaatan Botol Bekas Sebagai Akuarium Perikanan di SD Negeri 22 Seladu https://ojs.poltesa.ac.id/index.php/Hippocampus/article/view/1070
Plastic waste is a serious environmental problem that requires immediate handling, especially in educational environments. SD Negeri 22 Seladu faces the challenge of managing plastic waste, especially used bottles, which have not been utilized optimally. This condition shows the need to increase students' awareness of plastic waste management and the provision of environmentally based learning media. This service activity aims to minimize plastic waste, increase students' understanding of waste management, and create learning media in the form of aquariums from used bottles. The method used includes preparation stages, delivery of materials, and practice of making aquariums from used plastic bottles. Activities are carried out with a participatory approach to actively involve students. The results of the activity show that students are able to understand the concept of recycling, increase creativity, and have a higher awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. This program provides significant educational and environmental benefits. By using used bottles as a learning medium, this activity can be used as a model for environmental education in other schools to support sustainable plastic waste management.
Dwi Saputri, Sagita Kusumawardani, Febri Febri, Krisentia Yayan, Leo Lugeri, Muhammad Ilham Hanavi, Beryaldi Agam, Debby Urabi, Izhar Amirul Haq, Jordi Jordi, Kiki Kristiandi, Oktavia Nurmawaty Sigiro, Evelin Agusti, Indria Mahgfirah, Mia Audina, Sangkala Sangkala, Sudirman Masara'T Copyright (c) 2025 Hippocampus https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://ojs.poltesa.ac.id/index.php/Hippocampus/article/view/1070 Mon, 23 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0000
