Abstract
The efforts to promote both business units and other groups in the Covid-19 pandemic are indispensable. It becomes a very important attention for all parties, such as government, private, and public people. These business units have a very strategic role to support the national economy. One of Women Farmers Group (WFG) located in Serindang Village, Tebas Sub-District, Sambas District is Women Farmers Group (WFG) Berkat Usaha. It was established in 2013. The activities in this WFG were processing Pineapple fruit to be Pineapple dodol and Pineapple syrup. However, since Covid-19 Pandemic, the raw material and supporting ingredients were hardly found. Thus, it caused WFG to stop the pineapple fruit and cassava crisp production. On the other hand, the cassava peel waste was just thrown away. This caused environmental damage. Through this Community Service, there have been done socialization, training/workshop, accompaniment and guidance, and evaluation and monitoring of diversification of cassava peel waste product, which was processed to be cassava peel sticks that therefore increased the value-added of cassava products. Moreover, it has done socialization about package design which has an important role in product marketing and business analysis to obtain a fair selling price. Training in cassava peel utilization has increased the skill of WFG members, the kinds of processed cassava products as well as the increasing selling volume and then the income of WFG members. Based on monitoring and evaluation of WFG, it showed that 100% of members have recognized how important the diversification of processed cassava products and packaging is in cassava peel stick product marketing.
